Nutty chocolate cookie, sweet but not sugary sweet. The sharpness of oud has been muted by the combination of red pepper, saffron and sandalwood.

I tend to love the Montale line (Jasmin Full, Aud Queen Rose, Aoud Damascus) but this red Aoud was overly sweet. it was immediately cloying rather than spicy and dark.

Lots of vanilla woody undertones with the medicinal almost metallic aoud scent. Pretty linear-- doesn't change much from squirt to drydown. Not for me-- just too much of that low sweet base for me.

This is sweet but different - it's a little out on a tangent - abit gourmand but so lovely and so expensive smelling. It is expensive ! It's long lasting as are most Montales .Thumbs up !
