Dr. Galen Hunter founded CO Bigelow apothecary (originally called Village Apothecary Shoppe) in NYC in 1838. The first product they made was Rose Wonder Cold Cream. They have since expanded to include full lines of skincare, hair care, fragrances, makeup, bath and body, and apothecary remedies.
