The one thing I am most conscious of is my skin. My skin is very very oily, medium sized pores, bumpy and red from post teen acne.

This foundation is absolutely beautiful and makes you look so so flawless. The coverage is light, but buildable to medium. If you have redness, you may want to go in with a concealer.

It lasts from 7am til 7pm for me, although by about 3-4pm oil will start shining through and by 5-6pm, it will be quite oily... but nothing a little powder can;t handle.

So why am I only giving this beautiful foundation 4 lips?

Because it has the DREADED. WHITE CAST FLASH BACK.

Girls beware! I tested this out before going one night and to my disappointment, I looked like an absolute, white ghost. Unfortunately it pens down to the "HD" label on this foundation... I would not repurchase simply because I want a foundation I can wear with flash photography as well as day time use. But for now, this is my every day foundatioh!

This foundation earned top ratings for me at first application! My skin has VERY yellow undertones and although I love the look of BB creams, it's nearly impossible to find one that has major warm tones so I figured this would be the next best thing so I gave an educated guess for my shade and gave it a go. It IS, in fact, light/watery consistency but I saw that as a plus. I slapped on a couple coats and dusted some of the UD Naked Powder and WOW! The shade is still SLIGHTLY cooler for my warm tones (even in the "warm tone" shades) but otherwise a fantastic match and finish. PLUS, it has goodies for your skin which is a win win for me!

UPDATE: I ended up powdering with the powder one shade darker but it still didn't look terrible and best of all: IT LASTED ALL DAY! Finally as an important tip: ladies, don't trust a shade recommendation from the store clerks. Seriously. You know your skin best. I'm between a 5 and 6 and the store make up person tried to push an 8 on me. WTF.

For reference, I am NW10-15ish. I have acne prone, combination skin that is fairly clear at the moment, but I have some old marks and a few tiny scars. I wear the lightest shade of this foundation, 0.5. :)

I have mixed feelings about this foundation. It is very, very good. However, it is not HG, and it is not super easy to apply. I feel like someone without much makeup experience would likely get frustrated using this.

The foundation itself is in a nice bottle with a pump. It is very liquidy and thin and feels nice on the skin when you apply it. I put it on after washing my face and applying sunscreen/moisturizer and primer. I apply it by pumping one pump onto my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Then I dot it on my chin, cheeks, nose, center of forehead, and start blending it out from those places. It will not cover major blemishes/scars/marks on its own with one pass, but it will sort of "blur" them. You CAN build up the application, but I would not recommend doing so all over your face or it will begin to look thick and "fake" and might wind up highlighting hairs/fuzz on your face, settling in fine lines, and so on. Just dot more on the places you need more coverage. Even then you will likely need some concealer for major blemishes/marks and undereye areas.

My biggest complaint is that the foundation initially slid around on my chin without setting. I have to use powder on my oily spots (and as I get older, those spots aren't really all that oily anymore) to set, and then I still use the original makeup setting spray by Skindinavia all over that. I just feel like it takes quite a bit of work to achieve a flawless face, and as a mom of 2 little kids, ain't nobody got time fo' that. ;)

You absolutely can achieve really great, natural results with this (I have gotten many compliments on my skin while wearing it), but it might take quite a bit of experimenting to find the right brush and right method of application for your unique skin. I think this foundation can work for anyone, but it probably works easily for those with few skin issues, and anyone else is going to have to work out the kinks a bit. I would repurchase, as I have a difficult time finding color matches and foundations that don't aggravate my skin (this has not exacerbated my acne nor has it caused dermatitis, which is an issue for me sometimes), and this fits the bill.

I chose 4 for my medium golden skin. It matches so well! It has medium coverage and feels very light. It has the right amount of moisture for my normal skin. it blends like a dream and lasts all day. Love the packaging! I prefer using my fingers on primed skin with this. It works nice with ud's brightening primer. Your skin will be glowing so naturally with the two together. You can't even tell its makeup,

I think this is a good foundation to try you if you don't need much coverage. It's great at evening and brightening but I don't think it builds well at all. I'm taking off one lippy because even though I have very oily skin this can still emphasis patchy/scaly skin, so I need to make sure to exfoliate a lot. I also always forget to shake the bottle but I cant tell if there is even a difference if I shake it or not.

LOVE it! I am an NC 50/55, chocolate brown and this foundation in shade 12 is perfect for me. It requires blending but once you do, it looks so natural. I do have to go a bit heavier in my problem areas to conceal dark spots. It has the perfect amount of redness to brighten your face but not so much that it looks like you applied red blush all over. It dries to a semi-matte and does not oxidize or turn that weird green/gray color some makeup does on very dark skin. I have extraordinarily oily skin so I do have to touch up but I don't mind. I apply it with the "blur" brush UD markets with this foundation. That brush is awesome. I am a true fan of UD!

I have dry-ish, sensitive, pale skin with slight yellow undertones.
This product was a big disappointment and looked very fake/chalky on my skin and I couldn't find a color match at all. It looked awful close up, no matter what application method was used. I returned both shades of this product (0.5 & 1.0, even tried mixing them) after neither could be made to look good on my skin.

PROS:
Easy brush application
Smell is light and non-offensive
Medium coverage even though the formula is very thin
Did not feel it sitting on my face

CONS:
Appears patchy and chalky even on moisturized skin that looked smooth beforehand
Highlights pores, peach fuzz, dry patches, sebaceous filaments
Dries/oxidizes much, much pinker than it appears when wet (tried both 0.5 and 1.0)
Shade range (for light skin) is lacking, especially as it got darker/rosier after application
Cheap container construction, leaked around base of pump

Stop and don't look any further! This foundation has changed my life. My skin is so so soft and literally feels as if there is nothing on your face at all. I LOVE THIS. Don't know where I'd be without it right now! Nicely done Urban Decay, nicely done.

This foundation is beautiful. As the name suggests, it creates a "naked" effect, going on lightweight enough to look like your natural skin but a far more flawless version. It covers my redness and spots really well but I can still see freckles and it really doesn't look like I'm wearing anything at all!
I use this as an everyday foundation, like a cheat tool so I don't look like wearing makeup. If only my skin looked this good naked ;)
Lasting power is great, it's still on my face at the end of the day, although by then it is clinging to dry patches.
Only thing is I do find it goes weird if I try to build it up with more layers to a heavier coverage. It kindve separates. That doesn't bother me though as I specifically bought this for the naked effect.
Smells beautiful, feels beautiful, I love the luxury of this product. This is my first urban decay purchase and I am not disappointed!!

This is becoming my most reached for foundation. It is light to medium coverage and doesn't turn oily. Looks almost as good 12 hours after I put it on. BTW, the same can't be said for the compact version...that was way too thick!
