This product was HORRIFIC. After using it for less than a week on two tiny pimple scars I'd had for several months, my skin on and around the area turned scaly red and rough to the touch. It also contains hydroquinone, a very harmful product. I'm throwing out the rest of this awful product and I will not be repurchasing (obviously)

This product is the best !!!!!!!! i have had sooo many spots on my face and this this the only thing that clears up my dark spots fast . you can put this over lotion, wear it under makeup .. its sooo great . Give it like 3 weeks to see results , trust me you wont be mad , i have brought this about 4 times already and i loveeeeeeeeee it .. the only downfall is that its 30 bucks .. yea kinda expensive but it worth the money . Plus I have oily skin and this does not make my skin oiler

I do not have acne...however I was given a small sample bottle and had high hopes of it helping get rid of some small brown age spots I had.....that is until I read up on hydroquinine.....in the garabage it went. I would rather keep my age spots then risk my health.

This cream works for acne blemishes, but you must use consistenly. It works very well with the other Proactiv line cleansers, etc. I only use Proactiv, so this is a lifesaver for me if I want a blemish mark to fade quicker than nature allows...thank you Proactiv!!!

this was the first lightening product that I have ever used and I loved it! it noticably lightened the brown spots left by acne over time. for me, the most resistent brown spots disappeared by a month! However, I won't be purchasing this product again. After hearing and reading about the health dangers of hydroquinone (this product mainly consist of hydroquinone), I threw my Pro Activ Skin lightening bottle away. So use at your own risk!

So far, this is the only skin lightening product that has given me positive results. Like with everything in life, you must be consistent if you want to get the best of it. Last year my face was at it's worse. My cheeks had zits one on top of the other and they wouldn't stop coming. After using the Proactiv line for about 3 months, I started to see my skin clear and the acne still came, but a lot less frequently. Couple more months went by and my skin was absolutely clear of acne... now the only problem was that the damage was so severe that I literally had BLACK spots all over my cheeks. Even concealer couldn't cover them properly. So I decided to try the Skin Lightening lotion and after being very consistent with usage, I saw incredible results. Other than little "holes" on my skin from the disappearing acne, there was no other evidence that I had any to begin with. This product works wonders. The only problem I have with it is that when you unscrew the cap, the lotion may come out by the tons and you might end up having to use more than desired. I tend to screw caps on pretty tightly to preserve my products better... bad idea for this bottle. I screwed it so tight that I ended up breaking it. LOL So be careful!

It does help somewhat with fading hyperpigmentation, but its scent is horrible! I really wish that it were fragrance free!

This stuff is truly amazing. You don't see results right away, as others have said. it probably took about a month for me to really notice a difference. But once you do, acne scars really start to fade.. mine are just BARELY there after using this for about 2 months.
Only negative I have on it is with the packaging. Be very careful when unscrewing the lid, this stuff just comes pouring out.

This works very good, but it is pretty expensive. You don't get results right away, at least that is what happened to me, so don't stop using it if it doesn't seem to work right away. The packaging isn't the best though. You don't have to squeeze the tube much for it to come out, and I had to keep the tube upside down so that when I opened it, it didn't all come out. Other than the packaging and the price, it works very well, and I would definitely buy it again.

I love this. It actually helps reduce the appearance of the marks left by pimples on my face. You have to use it for awhile to get results though, so don't think that since it doesn't work right away, that it isn't working. Oh, and it can bleach stuff so be careful.

This stuff is great! It help lightening my dark spot from pimple. I purchase a whitening from Shiseido and it did nothing and it cost like $100.00. I purchase Pro Activ it only cost me $25 and it actually help fade dark spot. I will sure come back to repurchase this item.

I really like this skin lightener.It is a silky lotion. Works good for me when I am taking a break from tri-luma cream and a lot less expensive.

I haven't really noticed any lightening yet, but I've only been using this for around 3 days now. It is a lot more tolerable and skin-friendly than that nasty Porcelana lightening cream.
This can be used with the 3 step (I use it with the 5 step, actually) system, you just have to wait 20 minutes after applying the repairing lotion.
Hopefully this fades some of those yucky pimple marks.
Oh yeah, this smells like death.

When I used the ProActiv Solution 3-step(over 3 years ago), it made my skin look perfect, although I still had some old red marks from past breakouts. I've repurchased ProActiv's Skin Lightening Lotion many times, as it did help some with fading those marks. It also made my skin smooth as glass, and very soft. It has a little bit of Glycolic Acid, so it also helps to exfoliate the skin. Plus, it smells nice, imo. My advice would be to NOT apply your benzoyl peroxide(Repairing Lotion) on the same night you use your Skin Lightening Lotion. This is why...The first night I tried the SLL, I put my Proactiv bp lotion where needed, then the SLL. Any areas where the products mixed/touched I got a brownish patch, which was visable on my light skintone. For the next couple of nights, I used just the SLL, and that made the brownish marks disapear. From that point on, I used one or the other at night, never both. I never got another brownish patch. I recall it saying on the bottle of SLL, to use it after your 3-step. I would not. **Use it instead of Step 3.**Also, it's really important to wear a broad-spectrum SPF of at least 15 daily. This is what helps prevent those marks from getting redder. I would only use the Skin Lightening Lotion at night.I haven't used this product for many years, as I don't use ProActiv anymore and I'm not on the ProActiv Skin Care Club, so it would cost me a bit more $$ now.
