Very nice-looking iron. I got this at a bargain for around $40 after my other one, a Wigo from Ultra, broke.

This is so much better. My hair gets really poufy and a bit wavy, so overall the look is never good. My hair is also pretty thick, so I have to put half it up at a time, but this usually does a pretty good job with it. At first I was hesitant because it has thicker plates so I wouldn't be able to slightly curl in my ends (I have an angled bob so it pretty much needs to be this way) but it totally worked out.

I think that you would need a straightening spray or gel to get a pin-straight look, but seeing as I primarily use this iron as a way to deflate my hair and make it manageable, it's worked out perfectly so far.

Love, love, love this straightener ! I've had it for 4+ years ever since it was first introduced into the north american market (after hearing rave reviews from friends in england, also interesting to note that this was the first tourmaline straightener made available to the U.S market). What else can I say then it is the PERFECT straightener for my hair (curly fine 3a hair). It literally takes 10 seconds to heat up, has 5 temperature settings, my hair never snags and I'm done straightening in 20 min ! My hair does not damage or splint like it does with other straighteners and I think it has to do with the tourmaline infused into the ceramic plates. I paid a little over $200 (Canadian) but totally worth the cost since it came with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and its lasted me 4+ years (that's $50/year - totally worth it !). Unfortunately I don't think its available online at sephora anymore, but I do see it in the odd sephora store.

Let me first say that I'm very thrifty. I don't like spending tons of money on beauty products. That said, I spent $160 on this baby, and if it broke tomorrow, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It's the Medium Duality from Bespoke Labs and you can buy it at Sephora. It heats up in a split second and it straightens AMAZINGLY. I haven't tried any other high-end straighteners, but I have tried cheap Conair ones and they just don't work. This thing is my HG of flat irons.

Man - what a piece of junk.
I purchased the T3 Pro Mini today. (the little pink one) what a waste of money! This will be going back right away.
It takes forever to heat up. It does not curl properly. It doesn't even straighten properly. When running the iron through the hair just to straighten, it leaves little dents.
It tugs at my hair, quite harshly. no gliding. and it ripped little pieces (like 1'' off the ends) out of my hair too!
My Ga.Ma leonardo does not do that. And i'm sure Chi doesn't do that either.
Save your money, don't fall for the hype. do not buy this iron.

T3 Tourmaline Iron was not worth the price. I purchased mine from Sephora a little over three years ago for around $200. If I only knew then what I know now - I would have walked straight over to the makeup and bypass the T3 display.
It rips out my hair when I straighten - the plates do not glide they tug.
Also, the way the iron makes my hair looks after I am finished does not look soft and touchable like the CHI that gives movement and swing to the hair. I just lays flat and looks like a scarecrow. The worst part of all is that if you have a drop of oil on your scalp the iron will heat it up and burn you! I have had burns in my scalp that look nasty once the skin starts flaking off!!!
Overall, it is way too much money. When I walked out of Sephora I thought I had the HG of flat irons. The truth is that I have had a Vidal Sassoon iron that did better than this one for less than $20. If there were any way I could earn back a fraction of the cost I paid I would gladly sell it.
I gave this a rating of three because even though I don't like it - it does straighten. If you like the kind of hair that lays flat with no bumping, like mod 60's you might like it. Also, the adjustable heat settings are nice and not all flat irons give you the option of changing the temps.
I have hair that is mid back, black with old grown out color on the bottom 2 - 3 inches. I am an AAB but I do not have Asian hair - I am mixed and I inherited caucasian hair that is semi curly and requires either straightening or scruching to achieve one look otherwise it is a half - fro!

At first I was disappointed. I had the original T3 iron, the one with the yellow plates, and that one worked really good, so when I upgraded to the Bespoke Labs Edition (authentic from Ulta) I didn't expect to be questioning it. I've changed some of the products I've used, and now it works MUCH better, but I still don't know. Everything else about it is perfect though - it's cheaper than other super high-end irons like FHI/GHD/ProSleeker, heats up lightning fast (maybe like 10-15 seconds), and hasn't caused me any damage. Plus it looks really sharp. Most flat irons have a plain, matte black, boring appearance, but T3 has a glossy black and gray striped appearance, with a white cord and plates, and some crystals too. The temperature control is really ingenious as well. Most times I only see the huge boxy things with small dials, but the T3 has NO box, just a small dial with an on button that's flush against the body. Why this way isn't standard on all irons is beyond me. Straightening wise I am kinda on the fence about. You can't really get pin straight. You can get the naturally straight look though.

When I first got this I thought it was a pretty good iron, it did a good job at straightening my hair, but it didn't glide very well. Then 2 days after I got it it stoped working! Only TWO DAYS! The light would come on to tell me it's heating up but it wouldn't get hot. I returned and will never purchase another T3 iron ever again. For the price it should not stop working after only 2 days.

I purchased this about a year ago and sold mine on ebay. I really do not think this is one of the better smoothing iron lines. They do not "glide" properly through the hair. Also the wet to dry doesn't work that well. The price is rather high too.

I bought the T3 Mini Flat Iron and so far it is nothing spectacular. It straightens just fine, but it doesn't last and it makes my hair frizzy. I have wavy, thin blonde hair and I guess I was expecting more from it since it cost more then a regular CHI. I am definetly returning it.

I bought my T3 flat iron in 2004 and have been using it almost daily since then. It straightens my hair perfectly and is so much less damaging than any other iron I've tried, such as GHD, CHI and FHI, all of which left my hair with tons of breakage and split ends. The T3 flat iron also leaves my hair shiny and glossy, while the other irons leave my hair looking dry and dull. It heats up fast and has adjustable temperature. I have no problems with snagging or tugging. The plates are super smooth, and the iron glides through my hair like silk. After my experiences of comparing my T3 to other flat irons, I will never use any flat iron other than a T3 flat iron again. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for the perfect flat iron!

I also love T3 blow dryers and curling irons. I've found through experience, that T3 products are the least damaging heat-styling appliances on the market. If you are going to heat style, and want to maintain healthy hair, I wouldn't let anything but T3 appliances touch your hair! continued >>

i refuse to let this iron get a bad rap. I am African American, and have worn my hair straight my whole life, so it's not difficult to straighten, but it still your average tightly coiled head of hair. I have used a WIDE range of straighteners, from the worst (Hot Tools, ConAir) to the higher end (two different types of CHi and one T3) and HANDS DOWN, T3 absolutely OWNS Chi. Why??
Hotter: the maximum heat setting between the Chi and the T3 is a 50 degree difference.
Plates: Chi Plates are not perfectly aligned from end to end (they don't touch completely), and pull individual strands as you are sliding it down the hair and get closer to your ends. T3 goes down smoothly from root to tip
Heat Settings: Chi has none. Just ON and OFF (unless you have the Turbo, which i owned, and did not enjoy for very long because of the size of the tool (too large to get close to the roots without burning myself) and the felt material wore down quite quickly, especially becaue of product buildup. The T3 has SEVERAL temperature settings.
Frizz: T3=Minimal (if any) frizz. And if you do have to use anti frizz products, they can be wiped from the plates quite easily. Not so in the case of my Chi Irons.
Warranty: Chi only guarantees its product for 1 year, T3 is 4
Time: If you hate to have run your iron over the same piece of hair multiple times to get it super straight, then the T3 is the way to go. With the Chi, you'll be straightening all day
Performace: Bottom line: I get more compliments on my hair when i use the T3 than when I use my Chi. In fact, when i use the Chi...i rarely got complimented on hair. With the T3 people tell me how shiny it is, how soft it feels, and the bounce, volume and "flowyness" of it all the time
oh, and I've had my T3 for more than two years, so this is not the posting of an easily enamored new product user. I've stuck with this iron through thick and thin.

My hair is poker straight, fine but I have a lot of it and its down to my bra line. I have thrown out my hot rollers years ago because my hair will not keep a curl with them. I use curling irons (I have used quite a few) and have minimal success keeping a curl. Even when I section off my hair in small tiny sections and use a small barrell for TIGHT ringlets, by the time I'm through with my whole head (over an hour later) the side I started on has started to fall significantly. I found learned that the only way to keep my hair curly for any length of time I have to wet set it with rollers and setting lotion. But that is a time consuming process and I don't do it often. I usually just put up with the fact that my hair is as straight as it comes. Back in the day when I'd get my hair permed it would usually come out quickly. My hair is just very very resistant to curl.
NOW, I have had my hair curled with a GHD iron previously by a stylist and the result was pretty typical. They styled it curly and within the hour it was sagging significantly.
When I was offered to have my hair styled with the T3 Bespoke Lab iron, I was not expecting much considering my history. I have to say that was 3:00 yesterday and its now 10:00 am the next morning and my hair is STILL CURLY and bouncy! I'm thrilled as can be. I've even ran my hands through the curls more than a few times and taken a brush to it a couple times and the curl has not been affected much. The areas right around my temple have fallen a bit but those were a bit TOO curly at the start so its now near perfect. I'm in shock. I just can't believe my hair has stayed curly after brushing, running my hands through and sleeping in it. I'm totally won over.
Using this to curl with will take some getting used to as its a bit different than using a curling iron. And because I have so much hair, I'm not likely to do it often. But when I want that big curly pagent girl hair, this is definately it. I'm not too happy with the price so I'm off to Ebay to look for one cheaper.
I definately wouldn't need this for straightening my hair but I would be curious to try it just to curl the ends under or create Farrah flips around my face.
I would definately recommend this. I'm hooked.

Not impressed with for the high price tag. Didn't straighten my hair that well and tugged a lot. I had to return it.

first off, let me just say that i have naturally thick and curly hair and this might be the perfect product for those with fine hair or something... so keep that in mind when i say: THIS STRAIGHTENER IS TERRIBLE - for the price of AU$300 or whatever i paid for it. I've used $60 remingtons that did the same job. It stays dead straight for about 15 minutes, then it puffs and kinks out. Not ridiculously, but for $300 i'd want my hair to be dead straight. I'd even suggest the Silver Bullet over the T3 anyday!
So if you've got really thick hair, then there's only one straightener out there: GHD. it's $30 cheaper, if not the same price (depending on where you buy it) and it's well and truly worth it.

I recently purchased the T3 Bespoke Labs Medium Duality Iron (1 3/8"). I have been contemplating this purchase for quite some time, due to the price tag of $160. Quite steep considering I already have straight hair. But I purchased one for my sister a couple of years ago and she swears by it. I decided to save some cash and purchased mine on eBay for $99. I was ecstatic when it turned out to be the real deal! After I used it a few times, I realized I would have paid the full price for this beauty! Although the flat iron I purchased is not the domed model, it creates beautiful loose curls that literally last until the next wash. Mind you, my hair has never been able to hold a curl before! I definitely would recommend this flat iron to anyone looking for shiny gorgeous hair! And styling time is minimal, which is important since I'm pretty low maintenance with my hair to begin with. If your willing to forgo the warranty, eBay is the way to go!!!

I just got my T3 Medium Duality Iron in the mail, ordered from Sephora. I must say it makes my hair super shiny, straight and healthy looking, It works great! But I just used a Chi for the first time a week ago and the results are the same. The benefit of the T3 is the 4 year warranty vs Chi's 1 year warranty, so you pay extra for a better warranty......if you think about it then it's worth it, the Chi is 140 when you buy it from an authorized dealer (if you don't buy from authorized dealer you have no warranty) So the T3 is 20 more for 3 more years......I might decide to keep it.....

HG HG HG! I will not walk out of the house without using this. It gives my extremely thick, ethnic, course, chemically straightened, colored, damaged, dry, frizzy hair pin straight shiny hair. It looks like I walked out the the salon! But remember temperature is key. Before I used 360 degrees and I regretted buying this. But then I used the highest setting and WOW. My hair looks a lot healthier too.

I have been using the T3 Medium Duality Iron for over a year now. I have not tried any of the other higher-end flat irons (Chi, etc.), so I can't compare this one to those. However, compared to my $20 Conair, this flat iron is AMAZING!
I love how smooth the plates are, and the temperature control is also great to have. I heats up really quickly, and straightens my hair so well. I have fine, naturally wavy hair, and I can shower and sleep on my hair wet, wake up with a rat's nest, and my T3 will make my hair sleek and staight in about 10 minutes. (If I start with smoother blow-dried hair, it takes about 5 minutes).

LOVE this iron!! I have the 1 inch Narrow duality. I really like how well this iron is made. The iron itself is very light and the plates are very smooth. It takes me 12 minutes to totally straighten my hair. Unlike the CHI, this has a temperature control, which is wonderful. I have long fine hair, and I can set the temperature so I don't fry my hair. I also love the warranty. Its 4 years- how about that! This is a great product from T3 Labs.
