What the hell is up with everyone putting Mica in everything?! This blush would be perfect without it. Not everyone wants to walk around looking like a disco ball.
FYI ladies, shimmery blush on mature skin looks awful.
I've actually gone back to using Ben Nye on myself and my M/U clients because it's one of the few brands that carries matte products, doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and as far as I know hasn't made any of my clients break out.
I love your stuff Nars, but you're too over priced and under pigmented for me to take you seriously.

I bought this due to the hype and I don't completely dislike it. It's average in my opinion because I am not that fond of the shimmer. I feel like the shimmer accentuates my pores and so I use this as a highlighter instead.

Most Amazing Colour for The Cheeks. If I could only have one blush product it would for sure be this. The name is just fantastic too... basically describes the blush its self.

If I could have only one blush, it would be this one.
Pros: Gorgeous blendable colour that looks really nice on my NW20 skintone, nicely packaged
Cons: Doesn't last the whole day for me, and these compacts will ALWAYS eventually break.
Overall, a product that is worthy of all the hype!

This is a perfect neutral blush that gives a bit of glow to your skin. You can use just a little to give your face some color, or use a little more to give your face that flushed, post skiing, post orgasmic look. Either way it always turns out very natural looking

Its peachy pink color compliments my medium skintone. For reference I am a C4. Its great for everyday use and you can get away with any kind of make up look from natural to night out look. I find the product has a little fall out especially with the gold shimmers. Also, I noticed that I have to put on more product for the blush to show on my cheek. The reason why I dont buy this product again is not just about the price but I found an absolute dupe for this one that is more opaque and less gold shimmers -- Milani Luminoso.
If dont mind spending for a blush, go check this out. Its a lovely color and wearable for daily use.

I really like this product! Did anyone else notice big glitter clumps? They didn't bother me so much because they fell off.

The color is really great, and the packaging is very sleek and sophisticated, but I think it's a little to shiny for me and I prefer BareMinerals READY in The Aphrodisiac, which is a slightly less expensive dupe.

Orgasm represents the antithesis of what Shakespeare meant when he wrote :"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Why? because in this instance, names do matter.
I think that many belonging to the "would not buy again" camp would agree that much of Orgasm's iconic status is attributed to its name. Sex sells and I can get it better and for a tad cheaper elsewhere: Korres.
Too glittery, too orange, and too pink even with the lightest hand.

I always come back to this blush! Haters going to hate but it's simple, flattering, easy to apply and timeless. The shimmer is nothing to worry about as you only need apply it with a light hand as its so pigmented so I don't know why that upsets so many people. It is a great product, if I could only own one blush, it would be this hands down.

The first time I tried this I only did it to see what all of the hype was about. I have blonde hair and fair to medium skin with red undertones which I am always covering up, so In my opinion how in the world could this peachy color that everyone kept refering to as universally flattering look good on me? Doubful. I was kind of determined to hate it. When I put it on I was amazing. So subtle and so pretty. Glowy even. You can build it to what ever kind of look you want heavy or subtle since its so pigmented but I prefer a more natural dewy look on the cheek area. This is now my very favorite HG blush. I encourage anyone to try it, it seems to look good on everyone. I don't know how NARS does it.

I was so excited to try this since this is the NARS blush that receives the most hype. But I was so disappointed with it.
Firstly, it was way too glittery. It did not look glittery indoors when I was doing my makeup but once I saw my reflection outside in the natural sunlight, I looked like I slapped glitter on my face. Even my friends were asking me if I applied glitter that day...
Secondly, I didn't find this blush pigmented enough. It took me multiple swipes to get colour on my brush which was very annoying. I simply don't have time in the morning to swipe the blush multiple times for each side of my cheek. That said, I do have very soft blush brushes (Hakuhodo blue squirrel) so maybe other blush brushes made of goat hair will work better on this blush.
I have since tried Deep Throat, which is way better. Much more pigmented and not glittery. Nice coral pink shade. Check that one out if you are after a coral pink colour instead of this. Don't waste your money.

I was expecting to like this, given that it works so well for others. I found it to be too sparkly and that it emphasized my pores on my face. The color was quite nice, but a bit too pink for my skin tone. It ended up not being a very flattering shade on my skin at all. But I have seen it on other skin tones and it looks amazing. Just another case of everyone being different. I actually haven't found a shade of nars blush that I like. I loved the color of the nars cream blush penny lane, but it only lasts a couple of hours on my face before it fades.

This is probably my second favorite blush of all time. My favorite being NARS deep throat. It is a nice peachy pink, but yields more pink than anything, with lots of shimmer. I use this blush when I wear darker eye makeup because it's not too overwhelming. I think a lot of people who have negative reviews for this blush are either too dark for this blush, or they don't know how to apply it. If you find it too overwhelming, use a stippling brush (such as Mac 187). Or use a regular blush brush, and make sure to blend. I would definitely repurchase because it really is a must have

I've tried and tried but did not fall in love with this blush. After using half the pan I am giving up. It has too much glitter for an everyday look. This also didn't last. I always had to touch up in the afternoon.

After reading many reviews of how wonderful this blush is(in magazins, forums, blogs etc), I bought it.
My skin type is typical scandinavian fair, and I suit best warm blushes that is a mix of pink/bronze/peach-looking colours - preferably matte.
Nars Orgasm looked terrible me. It was way to shiny(glittery, not dewy), way too pink(in the wrong way) - and didn`t blend well into the skin.
The colour may look pretty on others(bt you need to really like the sparkling fake-pink look) - but for me a minus was also difficult application.
I tried googling pictures of people wearing NARS Orgasm, and honestly I didn`t really see this working brilliantly on others either.
Edit: Actually, I can wear it if I only put on a very little- for daytime use, not night. It's the gold shine(actual gold glitter) that makes it look weird on fair skin- probably much better in the summer.
I can see this looking better on someone with medium dark skin with warm undertones.

I really don't get the hype surrounding this product or really, any of the Nars blushes. To me, blush should be subtle. It shouldn't scream out "Hey I'm wearing blush." Of course, if a blush is too subtle ( I am thinking of Giorgio Armanis) then what's the point. So there is a happy medium to be achieved in the world of blush. "Orgasm" is so densely pigmented and bright that it is difficult to achieve any kind of happy medium. I will admit that I am very fair (I use Bobbi Brown Porcelain foundation). But that said, I have found this product somewhat impossible to work with. I've used a light hand, a nice big brush, and then gone back over it with translucent powder. My cheeks were still screaming and it pulled orange on me. I have seen this shade work on some blondes with a deeper complexion than mine. Definitely not for everybody, IMO.

a must have for the summer, when you get a little bit of a tan, this is such a compliment to that bronze skin colour, i love love love this blush, I've seen some people complain about the fact that the colour is not that vibrate, i just find you need to work it right, blend properly, and layer if you want a darker look, would definitely buy again!

This is absolute CHALK. Pinky orange chalk. I know it's a cult favorite and all, but I would rather have the cheapest brands' blushes than this. I thought it might just be mine but my friends' and the one at the sephora are equally crappy. It just has a chalky texture, no pigmentation, and wouldn't even be worth a single dollar.
