I don't know what it is, somehow when I put this cream on it feels stuffy and powdery (though no powder residues are seen) Doesn't even make your skin look moisturized, I wouldn't buy again.

I am also a lover of Chanel Le Lift Creme Riche. I've read other reviews elsewhere that say to stay away from creams that have alcohol, and this one does, but what can I say? It works beautifully....
