Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been purchasing the Kirkland brand wipes from Costco for about 2 years now. Have been fairly satisfied with them but wanted to try something different. Went to Walmart today and purchased the Equate Facial Cleansing Wipes in a box of 60. Brought them home and decided to compare the ingredients to the Kirkland brand. The ingredients are EXACTLY the same word for word no kidding. I was really shocked. The difference between the 2 wipes are this: The Equate brand wipes are a little bit smaller and much DRIER! They are both quilted but I felt as though the Kirkland brand removes makeup a little bit better because of the moistness factor. As far as pricing is concerned you get 150 wipes from Costco for about $11 and 120 wipes for about $8 or $4 for 60 at Walmart. Do the math, I guess it just about evens out give or take a few dollars. What I like most about the Equate brand is the cute box and packaging where as the Kirkland brand doesn't come in a box only plastic packaging. I will probably stick to the Kirkland brand and keep the equate box for the Kirkland Wipes.

I freaking LOVE these for removing makeup!! I've been using these for about a year now. I don't wear a lot of makeup, mostly mascara/eyeliner but these things will remove just about any kind of makeup on your face! I don't wear waterproof mascara so I don't know how they will work for that, but if I did, I would just remove it with baby oil. I always follow the wipes with cleanser, but you wouldn't have to if you didn't want to. I just feel like my face isn't "clean" unless I see foamy lather! I buy the refill pack and they usually last me a couple months, so the $4 I pay at Walmart is extremely reasonable. One side of the wipe has a slightly textured feel, and the other side is smooth...but neither side like scratches your face, especially your eye area. I hope they never stop making these!

I LOVE this stuff. I bought it because I needed makeup wipes, and these were the cheapest ones I found. They're so convenient. I told myself I would only use them when I was too tired to go properly take my makeup off, but I ended up using them everyday. They work great, too! They get off all my makeup, even mascara. They also have refill packs with 120 wipes for less than $10! Most wipes I found are like $8 for 30 wipes, so it's a really good deal. Assuming you use one a day, it'll last you 4 months! It's really worth it!

I love these towelettes. They get all my makeup off except for waterproof mascara. My skin feels so soft after using. I always wash my face afterwards to ensure clean skin. Great price, highly recommend.

I love these towelettes. I've never used the Ponds Clean Sweep towelettes that they're supposedly modeled after, but they're the best thing I've ever used to remove my makeup.
I wear moderate to full makeup pretty much every day. I cannot use cleansing oils, regular oils, or any other type of oil-, petroleum-, or wax-based makeup remover. I can't even use silicone-based eye makeup removers. This leaves me with pretty limited options for removing my makeup, and I've usually just stuck with double washing with my cleanser (which doesn't always remove the heavy-duty stuff and can be drying after awhile).
Enter these things. I've tried other cleansing towelettes before, and they always were either ineffective at removing my makeup or would make my eyes burn and sting (Olay, I'm looking at you). The Equate wipes are soft-textured and thick enough to not tear or pill up. They remove all of my makeup easily, including heavy face makeup and water-resistant eye makeup. They are damp enough to not have to scrub at my face, but they are not sopping wet. They are scented -- I wish they weren't, but the fragrance is very light, fresh, and non-offensive; it's a kind of clean, soapy smell that goes away as soon as you rinse your face. Best of all, these do not irritate my eyes at all.
I use 1 or 2 every night (depending on how much makeup I'm wearing) and I do follow up with a cleanser after using these (even for people who don't, I would recommend at least rinsing after). I bought them in the plastic tub with the pop-up lid, which I find very convenient. The refill packs are *very* inexpensive for the number of cloths you get. These are way more economical than most other towelettes, even drugstore ones.
I have no complaints and will happily repurchase.

I used to use L'Oreal liquid eye makeup remover, but then I discovered the ease of towelettes and never looked back. I've been through Ponds towelettes, then Olay towelettes, then several other brands until I settled for Equate. Fantastic! I use them to cleanse my face of eye makeup and foundation. I feel clean and refreshed after use. I also carry some in my purse for makeup touch ups (smeared eyeliner) and just sweaty road-trip face (yuck!). These are my favorite - and they're well priced too!

In removing makeup (esp waterproof mascara), I rate these better + more convenient than my makeup (and esp. eye makeup removers). It is the best. HG

These are the very same as Ponds Clean Sweep at 1/3 the price. The ingredient list is the same and they are textured similarly as well. Green, White and Red Tea extracts are used; they act and are amazing anti-oxidents along with chamomile which acts as a soothing ingredient to skin. One cloth will remove and entire face of makeup (including waterproof eye makeup) with none left over. You may turn the towel over if you need more cleansing room. No need to rinse, just move to the next part of your skincare regine. They are also great for refreshing/cleansing the skin in mid afternoon heat and humidity (if you've no makeup on for instance.) They leave the skin feeling spotless, no funny, sticky, moist residue left behind, just CLEAN skin. I don't recommend them for constant cleaning, as nothing takes the place of cleanser and water, but these are good in a pinch or if you need to redo your makeup for evening and need to get the day's grime/makeup off quickly!...or it's been a late night and you just want something fast to get your face clean before bed. These fit the bill!!...and then some!

Following my disastrous experience with Vichy I'm returning to what works for me. I've tried loads of different makeup removers at various price points and only Equate removes all of my makeup, leaves my skin soft and refreshed, and doesn't sting my eyes. HG indeed!

Previously I used neutrogena, clean & clear, ponds, etc.. makeup remover wipes. So, in my local Walmart, I was debating whether to get 60 of these or 30 of my usual for the same price.I decided to get double. These work great! When I go out at night, I wear A Lot of makeup, primer, foundation, concealer, blush shadow, liner, mascara, lip gloss etc.. & This removes it all! It usually takes 2, sometimes 3 to remove all my makeup. I hold the flat wipe on my eye for about 20 seconds to allow it to break down my eye makeup, then gently wipe. It clears everything off. after I apply eye cream, moisturizer & lip balm & my skin feels great. The texture of the cloth feels like it slightly exfoliates too. so I would imagine that the exfoliating one would be too rough, idk? maybe? But this one exfoliates too. I was getting low on them, so I decided to write this review about them, since I will be repurchasing soon. continued >>

I bough the 15-wipes just to carry in my purse incase I do sleepover somewhere. Does not take off waterproof mascara and dries skin out So I have to moisturize right away. They are convenient but I don't rely on the wipes to completely take off all my makeup.

I cant say enough about these! ive been using them for a few years now and have tried many different brands, but ialways come back to these. i want to try the exfoliating ones in the green pack, but idk if i want to mess with a good thing. walmart carries these for about 5.99 for 120 wipes. suchhh a good deal. the only problem i have with these are that they dry out quickly in the pop up plastic bin. i usually have to tip it upside down to get some liquid into the top cloths. overall, i would definately repurchase.

These are very convenient, but they stung my eyes pretty badly when I remove my eye makeup. They remove everything except my waterproof mascara.

I wear mineral make-up and waterproof mascara and these towelettes aren't strong enough to remove them, doesn't even budge them. I'll use these on Chapstick and pressed powder days. I'll go back to the Costco Kirkland towelettes, they power through every type of long-wear make-up and smell great.
Overall not a bad product, just doesn't suit my needs.

I decided to buy these since my usual MAC wipes became too pricey for me.. and I noticed that they weren't as soft and felt more scratchy on my skin :( why must ppl change a good thing???
Anyways, onto this review :) I wanted to try these out since I heard so much rave via youtube. I bought the 2 refill pack for just under $10CDN (60sheets/pack for total of 120sheets). The clothes are super soft and strong. I use a separate product to remove my eye makeup and these sheets do a very good job removing the residual eye makeup I have left. I don't wear foundation and just concealer where I need, so 1 sheet is usually enough for my entire face. I find that these are pretty moist. I store them opening side down. This helps the top sheets stay nice and moist. These wipes trump the MAC ones big time in terms of quality and price!!! I also like the pleasant (subtle) smell.
Even though it says "no rinsing" necessary, I still wash my face after I use these.
Bonus points for it being alcohol and oil free!!

Nothing super special with these. They take my makeup off, although I still wash my face after to get any leftover residue, which usually their is, but for the 5 or 6 bucks its not too bad.

I bought these last week when I was at walmart.I usually buy the target up&up brand for about 3 dollars for 25.But I saw these for about 6 dollars for 120 and I love them they take my makeup off better then the target brand ones and you can't beat the price :) continued >>

I recently purchased this at Wal-Mart for about $5. It comes with 60 towelettes, so you get a lot for what you pay. Usually, I buy Target's Up & Up makeup remover towelettes, but I wanted to give these a try. I felt like it did a good job removing my makeup. I just didn't feel like my face was super clean afterwards, because the towelette was a bit dry. I'm used to Target's towelettes, which have a lot of moisture. Although these are really cheap, I don't think I'll be repurchasing again. continued >>

I've bought these repeatedly because I'm stupidly cheap when it comes to some things. Sure, I'll spend $25 on mascara, but I guess I don't want to spend $25 to take it off. These are great for in a pinch when you don't have time to wash your face, or you made a mistake. But using them on a regular basis? I wouldn't recommend it. They're a bit on the dry side, so instead of getting an "exfoliated" feel like they advertise, it feels like they're kind of scraping your skin. They don't take off makeup very easily, it requires much rubbing and re-rubbing of areas. To me, an efficient makeup wipe this does not make. Most of the time I just make sure I take the time to wash my face to avoid the experience of these. I've learned my lesson. I'll fork out a little more cash and spring for the Biore or Clean & Clear or Neutrogena versions. I don't like the way this makes my already-oily skin feel, like it's got a residue on it. I've repurchased these in the past, but I've decided it's time to upgrade. I'll try something different in the future. continued >>
