Got this to lighten my acne scars and ended up with even more acne scars!! After clearing up my skin, I used the Wild Rose 24 Hour Cream this past summer and ended up with cystic acne all over and even under my jaw line after a couple weeks. I've heard great things about this product, but if you have cystic acne you may want to stay away from this product.

is AMAZING for my dry-to-normal skin this winter. You truly need a tiny amount (less than the average moisturizer) to cover face+neck. I use another object as a spatula to remove the cream (not fingers).
.
It absorbs very well, leaving a non-greasy glow. The moisturization properties last and last. My skin doesn't feel like it needs more or less moisture, it is perfect.
.
The key =use LESS than you think you'll need. Also I like the scent, it's not bad, not great- just an inconspicuous rose scent.

I have used two jars of this and just ordered two more. I order these on hsn and get a good deal.
My skin: I have combination skin. I can get oily in the t-zone. When the weather is cooler or cold, I can get dry skin. It will flake a bit on the nose and is tight in the cheeks and around the mouth. My chin gets hormonal acne from time to time and because I'm very fair I'll get pink scarring but it tends to fade pretty quickly.
This product: It smells nice but no overwhelming. It sinks in nicely. It is easy to apply makeup over. I can layer it at night if I need additional moisture. I don't think this is a miracle moisturizer. I don't know that I find it helping with fine lines or firmness. But it is hydrating but light. I'll keep buying because it is the best moisturizer for the price I've tried so far.
Other products I've used: estee lauder (the blue and the green jars- sorry don't know the name), merle norman wrinkle smoother, hope in a jar (hate), olay.

I have normal/combination/acne prone skin that became worse after my pregnancy. Really adult acne? and PCOS? WHAT ! I was in a state of shock. The dermatologist put me a Retin A Micro.. and I broke out worse than ever! My new routine that is keeping my problematic skin clear is:
day: Korres Pomegrante Toner, La Roche Effaclar K, and Wild Rose Cream
night: tretinoin cream (generic retin a)
My skin even when it wasnt problematic was never so even toned, and clear. Please try this routine.. it very well may work wonders for you too!

On paper this moisturizer is awesome but on me its a horrible rash combined with breakouts. Previously I could have used anything on my normal skin and gotten away with it but after having a baby my normal skin turned into a high maintanence $$$$ lol :) Long story short prior to using this moisturizer I was alternating between Bubble and Bee moisturizer and DermaE Tea Tree Oil antiseptic cream. Those worked fine till I went and messed up with that routine., Its been a week since using the Korres and I am still nursing my skin back to normal. Love the smell, texture and gift set it came in but does not work for my skin period.

I've been using this product for over half a year now and I must say that I love it. I've been using it more often now that the weather has gotten colder (I live in Canada). The cream works as a heavier moisturizer for my skin and I feel as though its definitely helped my skin. I believe it does brighten your skin a bit as it claims. I've been trying to fade some acne scars for some time and I've found that my skin has gotten alot better since using this product. I have also not broken out from it so that is a bonus. The only complaint I have is the packaging...the jar packaging is not that hygienic. It's also a bit on the pricey side for me as its $44 (CDN) at Sephora. Overall I can deal with the negative aspects of this product (the packaging and the cost) since the positives outweigh the negatives. I will definitely be buying this cream again!

I'm the friend who got Maybelle hooked (see 4/14/11 review). I love this moisturizer - not heavy, not light, and doesn't have a weird smell. My skin drinks it up in the morning and it leaves it soft all day. Sephora had a great 2 pack deal earlier this year and I stocked up.

This is a great moisturizer. My skin type: normal/dry, acne prone, and sensitive. This moisturizer was great for my skin. It also made my makeup look amazing and gave my face a "glow". It is a little pricey but it is really hard for me to find a moisturizer suitable for my skin. My boyfriend even noticed how nice my skin looked and I just started using this moisturizer so it had to be that! I really want to try out the whole wild rose! Definitely give this moisturizer a try!

I like this as a night cream over my argan oil in the winter only!
I live in Canada where it gets very cold and dry and in the winter I need extra protection. The SPF 6 is a joke, that's why I only wear it at night.
A little goes, a very long way. Too much and your greasy.
Gotta love how it's all natural, and the smell is very feminine.
The price might seem high for some, but Korres always has box sets where it ends up being 2 for the price of 1.
I do wish it was a pump, so just make sure you have clean hands when applying.

Pretty much agree to everything Chucktucker wrote a few reviews before me.

I was surprised at the small jar, but as others have said, a little of this product goes a long way. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. The texture is not too thick or thin. It's great for my dry skin, and it does not clog my pores and cause breakouts as some other heavy moisturizers have done. It is an eco-friendly product, which was a major draw for me--I have been on the search for a moisturizer I could use that doesn't irritate my skin, and this has not disappointed me.
I would definitely not recommend this to people with oily skin. I think it is ideal for those with normal to dry skin. The only problem with this is the SPF--what a joke. Make sure you still apply sunscreen. I also wish this came in a pump, but since it's the first thing I apply following my morning shower, my hands are pretty clean, at least. The price is pretty hefty for such a small jar, so look for it on sale. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out.

As a rosacean with dry, delicate skin, I am more prone to be overjoyed with a product simply because it doesn't make my skin flush or burn. I have tried so many moisturizers that have done just that; everything from Eucerin to Aveeno to Chanel has given me grief.

The Korres Wild Rose line is truly made for people suffering from redness/rosacea. The vitamin C and rose oil soothe, protect, and enhance my skin's brightness. I feel that I gain a little radiance and lose a little redness when I use this product. It moisturizes beautifully, and never does it feel greasy, heavy, or runny.

The only reasons for detracting one lippie are the same as most other reviewers': The SPF content is ridiculous, and I kind of wish this were in a pump for sanitary purposes. Having said that, if Korres were to bump the SPF up to 15, I would call this the perfect moisturizing cream.

Personally, I have really liked this moisturizer although I can understand why it has some negative reviews. If your skin leans more on the oily side I do not recommend using this during the day. It is pretty thick and we all know the spf 6 is ridiculous, so for these reasons I just use it as a night cream. I am acne-prone and while using it at night I haven't had any problems with breakouts. As for the "skin brightening" claim, I do think this works. I have some sun spots on my cheeks and after using the product they seemed to have faded. The only problem is that it only seems to work WHILE you are using the wild rose moisturizer, I switched to another brand for a while and I noticed that the effects were not lasting. So if you are looking for a miracle face brightener, don't expect much, however It does leave you looking very refreshed and makes your skin very soft. It seems like a lot of people don't care for the scent. While it is a little fabricated and kind of "perfumey" I don't find it to be irritating. The smell is pleasant and doesn't linger. As for the price.....I think paying 35 bucks for a jar of this stuff is pretty pricey. I actually got mine at sephora when they had a 2 for 1 package for around $40, so basically you get 2 jars of the moisturizer at $20 each, a much more reasonable price that I would be willing to pay again. So if you are looking to buy this I would check to see if they are offering the 2 for 1 as its a great deal. If it still seems like a high price to pay, just know that this will last a long time. You only need to use a tiny amount. I bought mine in February and I've just only made a dent in my 2nd jar.
Overall, I really liked this. I was using Hope in a Jar before this and I like the Korres much better. Bottom line: a pretty decent moisturizer but I will only repurchase If I can get it 2 for 1 again!

This cream works really well for my combo skin that's prone to surface dryness, particularly in winter. The low SPF doesn't really bother me much, as I mainly wear it in winter (when we barely see the sun at these latitudes), or on days when I don't plan on being outside.
It can be a bit pricy, but the price-effect ratio is good enough for me to justify the price tag. Also, I've used more expensive creams that don't work nearly as well.

(Caveat: This is a first review, and I will update once I have used it a bit more. I have a large sample, though, so I won't be able to comment on long-term use.) First of all, a major irritant: the SPF6. There is no point whatsoever to an SPF6. Why bother!? It’s totally inadequate for UV protection during day-time, whilst for night-time use it just adds unnecessary chemicals.
Other than that, this is quite an emollient - dare I say "greasy" moisturiser, the smell is earthy but not unpleasant to my nose. It's not a rose smell. I hoped this would help me eliminate flakes from my combo skin with surface dryness. This it has done, though it is so rich I'm not sure if it would block my pores in the longer run. I would use it only at night on my skin type.
The jar packaging is not very hygienic, plus it accelerates deterioration of active ingredients (if any). Expensive, too.
I'd also like to point out that Korres products are not actually "natural" in any sense - that's just a nice, cuddly "brand story". Here are the ingredients: they should be perfectly safe for cosmetic use (though I have concerns about the aluminum oxide), but natural they are not.
Water, C12-20 Acid PEG-8 Ester, Glycerin, Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Hexyldecanol, Hexyldecyl Laurate, Pentylene Glycol, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated Myristyl Olive Esters, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Olive Oil (0lea Europea) Unsaponifiables, Alcohol, Aluminum Oxide, Aluminum Stearate, Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Bezoic Acid, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Grape (Vitis Vinifera) Seed Extract, Isodecyl Salicylate, Fragrance, PEG-8, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Phytic Acid, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Xanthum Gum

Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Cream
My Skin type is Normal, can be dry if I don't moisturize
I'm assembling the ideal skin care products for my daily regime and been trying many day time moisturizers. This is one of the ones I recently tried.
Here's my review:
Texture: Thin in consistency. Too thin for me. I really prefer a more substantial 'weight' to a moisturizer without being greasy.
Finish: Skin does feel moisturized, neither leaves a matte finish or a dewy or greasy one.
Performance: I did use with my foundation, and it seemed okay together. However, there is only SPF 6, which frankly is silly to have so little SPF unless you are planning to stay in doors all day. In my opinion, especially with all the research that is out there on the importance of a high SPF, either include a significant SPF or leave it out completely.
Application: Absorbs well, moisturizing but not heavy. Smooths easily over skin. Of course, I apply with fingers.
Packaging: I bought this in a Korres Wild Rose kit, so it was a small plastic tube.
Odor: I think saying it is 'Wild Rose' is decieving, I was expecting it to smell like a real rose (such as in rose water which you can get at ethnic stores) While the scent isn't offensive, it does smell a bit fabricated.
Cost: Middle to high end.
Bought at: Sephora
My rating scale is: EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR AND POOR
Overall rating for this product: GOOD. I think this is a decent moisturizer. Good for normal skins, I think dry or very dry would definitely need something more moisturizing.

Echoing what many others have said: Love the mild rose scent, love that a little goes a long way (which makes this surprisingly economical, especially if you get a good 2-for-1 deal), and love that this appears to be for those of us prone to sensitivity and breakouts yet still actually moisturizes. Only complaints are the SPF of 6 is sort of neither here nor there -- not enough for daytime but unnecessary at night, and the tub format is annoying (but not so much I'd give this product up for something else). Definitely recommend!

I am one of the pickiest people I know when it comes to moisturizer... and this stuff is AWESOME. It smells rosy and fresh and a little goes a long way. It makes my skin look so bright and fresh and ever since I started using it I haven't had one single breakout. I always used to have at least one zit at all times. Now I am blemish-free. It has also evened out the tone and texture of my skin. I use it in the mornings following my Olay Daily Mini-Peel and my skin is good-to-go for perfect foundation application. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great moisturizer. The only complain I have is that it comes in a tub. Not a huge fan of the tubs for obvious hygiene reasons. But I'll take the tub over any other run-of-the-mill moisturizer in a pump!

This is the best moisturizer ever!! I have very dry skin and for the past year I had been trying to find a moisturizer that would keep my skin from flaking and looking dull. well, I can say that I have found it!!! It makes my skin feel like silk, it aborbs quickly and smells amazing as well. I appreciate the fact that Korres put sunscreen in this, but its only an spf of 6, which I find not to be enough for during the day, and unnessary during the night. I also love the fact that it is made with natural ingrediants.
