I used this foundation for 2 straight months for school, so 5-6 days a week. It lasted but barely. Usually my foundations last alot longer like 5-6 months but because this foundation is so thick you get less in the bottle. they have a version of this foundation for dry to normal skin then for combo to oily. i got the dry skin one and when i got it i didnt like the packaging. i dont really like pour out foundations but thats just me. the color didnt perfectly match my skintone either but it was close enough to give me a good tan. also the lasting power is great. the thing that really turned me off about the foundation was it was so thick and i still needed to use concealer because it didnt cover well. it takes so much face wash to actually remove the foundation off your skin. i wanted to love this foundation because everyone raved and said it was full coverage and worked amazing i disagree, i think its thick makes my face look like im wearing a mask and still doesnt give good coverage at all. also this foundation made me break out, badly. not just normal pimples, it gave me the puffy bumpy ones. i applied this foundation with a sponge, i tried my hands, ive tried a foundaion brush, and a regular kabuki brush. when you use your hands you dont get as good of a coverage, i think using a sponge and pressing it into your skin is the best way to achieve and somewhat good coverage. the foundation doesnt really have a smell, not bad not good just a usual foundation smell. i think everyone should try it, becuase not everyones skin is the same, but for the price i paid ($14.00) and to get a foundation like this, i deffinately wouldnt buy it again.

I like the product enough to want to buy it again, but I have some gripes about it:
Like other reviewers before, I find it hard to blend because of its thick consistency. So I mix it with a few drops of Maybelline B.B. Cream, which is much more liquid, on the back of my hand before applying with my fingertips.
It gets really hard to reach the foundation at the bottom of the bottle. When I used my bottle down to the bottom half of the bottle, I had to shake the bottle really hard to get it to flow out. Now that I'm at the bottom one-third, I simply dip a tooth-pick into the bottle; I also use the tooth-pick to blend the foundation with the B.B. Cream.

I was desperately searching for my HG and I thought it would be nice if it was affordable for once! It is also fair to say that I’ve tried many too. I have combo/oily skin and often update myself with the latest craze via MakeUp Alley. Tried Mac [NC42], it was good... But just good. Strong on the yellow undertone. Nars Sheer Glow [Syracuse] came close, very close, but didn’t have lasting power. I know it’s not for my skin type but I couldn’t resist! Plus I was on Accutane at the time.
I heard of Revlon Colourstay and thought I’d give it a try as it was affordable. Although I had never tried drugstore foundations before. Unfortunately the stores in the city didn’t have my shade [Golden Caramel] but eBay did =D Which was great because I got it for only £4.77.. Unlike my Nars at a depressing £30 -.-
When it came through the post I was so excited, just like we all are with our hopes and expectations sky high. No wonder we get disappointed lol. Put it on and was uncertain, looked at it from different angles and lighting. I was unsure. The second time I applied it, it looked flawless.
I use my fingertips to apply to the product and work pretty quickly. One area at a time i.e. nose, right cheek and then left and so on. Some say it dries too fast but I think its okay as long as you get your application right.
One great thing is I don’t need Mac Blot powder to finish unlike how I did with the Nars. That’s a bonus as it saves the £20 odd now and then. Blusher [Nars dolce vita] goes on pretty well on top of this foundation.
The only fault (if I can call it that?) is that there is no pump. However this doesn’t concern me as much as others because I’ve had quite a lot of practice with other foundations. It’s easier if you use the back of your hand as a palette.
Anyway, the colour range is pretty good for a drugstore foundation. The undertone is not too strong which is perfect for Indians. I highly recommended it and try different things with application.
I think this is the one.
P.S. Sorry for the long review x

This foundation would be great on someone who does not have dry skin. I got the one for Normal/Dry skin and it dried my skin out so bad. I had severe dry patches on my cheeks and forehead and had to discontinue use of the product. After I discontinued it, the dryness went way down.

I really like this product especially for drugstore foundation. It dries matte which for my dry skin can look cakey; but I pat a little water on after and it looks fine. Stays all day and covers most of my acne scarring. I always have a bottle of this in my makeup bag. defiantly worth a try

This is the only drugstore foundation I've tried and really liked. It is quite matte, which I like, and lasts the whole day. It is more on the heavy side, so I usually only use this when I go out. It photographs very well. I find that the best way to apply this is with either a stippling brush or a damp sponge. It does have a paint smell to it, and it doesn't have a pump, but I personally don't mind either of those. I am in NC25-30, and golden beige is a great match.

I really like this foundation. I have bad hyperpigmentation on my cheeks from acne and i used to have to pile on concealer to cover them :( but this covers it completely!! No lie! I was so surprised. Only thing is that it might be breaking me out a little lol idk if its this or a new primer i bought. Oh and its a little smelly, but nothing too bad

I loved this! I have pretty oily skin and this along with the powder keeps my face shine free longer than anything else i have tried before. The only thing is it doesnt take a whole lot, so make sure not to cake it on!

This is the ONLY foundation product that I have bought multiple times. I have oily sensitive skin with some acne scarring. Because of my scarring, I like to have a foundation that has a lot of coverage for the smallest amount. When I first bought this foundation, I was not sure how to use it so I did not like it as much. However, now that I have had lots of experience with it I LOVE it and I have found many different ways to apply it for different results.
The best piece of advice I have for using this foundation is to always use a wet applicator (whether that be a foundation brush, flat top blending brush, beauty blender, or sponge). If you spread an even small amount all over the face quickly, it is easy to go back and add a little more ONLY to your problem areas. I have found that this is the best way to use this foundation. Overall I trust that this foundation will not make me break out, and that it will stay on for most of the day. I love this foundation and I would highly recommend this.

I have never done a review on any product before but I just had to do one on this foundation.I am 52 yrs old and have tried almost every long wear foundation out there. Now that hot weather is approaching,I was determined to find the perfect one. After purchasing over 8 different brands including the top of the line brands, I came across Revlon Colorstay. OMG! I am sooo happy with this foundation! It is the best I have ever used! The color is perfect (I purchased 150 Buff). It blends perfect and stays on forever!!!! It makes my skin look so smooth and it is buildable color. The only thing I wish it had is a pump. But please believe me when I say that this is the best! I almost gave up after several trips to sephora and purchasing their best long wear brand. Then this brand just popped up on the internet one day. It is now my only foundation! Please give it a try!

This is far superior to many high-end foundations when it comes to concealing the redness of my oily yet flaky skin on the sides of my nose caused by mild rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. But I cannot just slap it on and hope for the best, like more lightweight foundations or tinted moisturisers, otherwise the end effect is dry and cakey, rather than flawless. This needs freshly moisturised or primed skin and a light-handed application with a stippling brush, followed by finger patting to blend. I find that the warmth of my fingers helps blend it beautifully. It doesn't last 24 hours as claimed and I still need to blot my nose after lunchtime, but the staying power is remarkable and coverage is excellent, yet undetectable. I only have two gripes: the pitiful shade selection available in France (I am lucky that the lightest, 180 Sand Beige, is a perfect match for me right now.... but only 4 shades? c'mon Revlon!) and the rather impractical packaging. A plastic bottle and a pump dispenser would be just perfect.

This is the best foundation I've found for my oily/breakout prone skin. It actually stays on my face all day without looking super greasy and melting off. The coverage is great... not too heavy looking, but enough to even my skin tone and get rid of redness, plus it's easy to blend. I like the fact that it has a little sunscreen in it too! I'll definitely be buying this again.

I bought this foundation in one of the pale shades and it was the one for dry skin. Love it! Have been using it for about 5 months and I still have product left. I only use a little each day, and thn use concelaer on my acne scars. It gives a lovely even look to my skin with good coverage. Makes my skin look a little oily though, but I just use a small dusting of Rimmel transclucent poder over this, and it looks great-A lovely glowing look.
This is the first foundation I have really loved in a few years. I have acne prone skin also, and it does not break me out. Will definitely repurchase!

I bought this product after reading all the great reviews for it. I wanted to love it so bad. I am still on the hunt for that perfect foundation. I hated this with a passion. It made me look grey! It looked like I hadn't slept in days. It was the first make-up product I ever returned. Normally I will keep them and try them again another time. I think it was around 11-12 bucks..and I didn't want to waste that money. Right now I use Maybelline Dream Liquid Foundation....and it does the job...I just want that perfect flawless look..and I have yet to find it. This product is definitely not anything like people describe.

This is my go-to drugstore foundation. I use it when my HE foundations disappoint me. I love the way this foundation applies, I only use my fingers. It has good enough coverage, but I still use a concealer because I have terrible skin. It wears off a little by the end of the day, and I get oily, those are the only reasons that I'm still on the hunt for my HG foundation. I even like the way this foundation smells.

I bought this product after reading a lot of good reviews on it.
I have acne prone skin, dry but oily in t-zone.
I totally agree that the foundation is full coverage, I was also lucky because I got the perfect color - full coverage and perfect color is what I was looking for.
I'd be totally satisfied with this foundation... but..
I only wear it occasionally for a party (3-5 hours). I realized that every time I wear this foundation, the next day I had a lot of new "surprises" in the form of huge, hurting pimples.
I tried a lot of foundations, and this is the first time my skin reacted this way. I assume the foundation is not oil free ( is totally clogging the pores) and is totally not made for people with acne prone skin.
Plus, the packaging and no pump is a big minus, too...

Bought this after reading the reviews on here. It's a waste of AUD $34. It gives next to no coverage, dries before you can blend it and doesn't warm to your skin. Probably won't be looking at Revlon foundations again. This product isn't amazing at all - it's amazingly bad.

I have been using this product for months! i use to love it but i guess its more of a winter foundation for me because now thats if getting warmer out it feels like a mask on my face and after an hour i get really shiny. I wont be re purchasing this foundation until the winter months.
