I bought this with hopes that its would be really good because its Aveeno. Haha. It absorbs well though, that's one thing I really liked. It was useful on small blemishes, but for the bigger ones... not so useful. I find it more efficient on acne scars rather than acne blemishes

I'm shocked to see such poor reviews but there are good ones too so I guess it just depends on your skin. I however love the product. I have very dry, sensitive skin. I have ocassional break outs and this is the only think I've found that works and doesn't dry out my skin or burn. If I use the product when I start to get a pimple, it may get a little bigger but it quickly shrinks and rarely comes to a head. It is great in preventing marks from pimples but does nothing for preexisting marks.
I'm just upset that I can't find the product anywhere now.

I had just gotten through a horrible bout of acne, and was about to go visit a friend. I bought a tube of this hoping that I could get my complexion back under control, but it just made my skin burn red and bumpy all over. I would definitely not recommend this product.

i have used this product for over two years and it works great for my dry skin. i hardly ever broke out before using this product and didn't after i used it. it is one of my HG products. it's helps clear pimples(the few that i sometimes get before my period) without drying out my skin which is my main problem with other products. highly recommend for ppl w/dry skin who break out infrequently.

Holy CRAP!!! this stuff is amazing for marks left by pimples that you mess with, i LOVE this stuff!!! it is my go to for acne marks!!!!

i was really disappointed by this. i heard a lot of great reviews of this (not from MUA) and i thought i'd give it a shot since i had nothing to lose! it didn't do anything! i waiting for some sort of improvement or... just anything, but nothing happened. i even went out on a limb and bought it a second time, just waiting for its effect. yet again, nothing. it is as if i had applied a moisturizer and that was it. if i was expecting just a mild moisturizer, i wouldn't have bought it in such a tiny tube. this product is a rip-off and pricey for its size! worst $14 i've ever spent in my life. wait, x2, worst $28 i've ever spent in my life!

This product did absolutely nothing! For post acne marks, with salicylic (sp?) its supposed to help peel the top layer of skin off gradually but I think the formula is way too creamy to penetrate effectively. My friend who had severe acne liked this product and said it helped with her acne...I do not have chronic acne just a few dark spots here and there that appear every once and awhile. The packaging was really cute and effective in getting the right amount out for use. It is just way too expensive to keep buying and when results are not visible after days of consecutive use i tossed it. Once again I was sucked into aveeno's reputation of good skin care when I previously tried another product and it didn't work. Good luck!!

I love this product. It's the only thing that will help my acne. I only use it as spot treatment. And I do not use it every single night. I use it when I need to. 2 years ago, I suffered from cystic acne. Every month I would spend close to $200 at my dermatologist. She kept making me buy expensive creams and antibiotics. None worked for me. I got really frustrated and saw Aveeno Clear Complexion Correction Treatment for $15 at Walmart! I started using it on the really bad zits. Within 3 days, these zits were like 75% better. They stopped hurting and stopped pussing.

Wow, I can't believe so many people are displeased with this product! I've been using it for a few weeks and I've been clearing up and my skin tone has been evening out. In addition, I'm also using the Aveeno Clear Complexion Moisturizer after this, it's a great combination! My skin is not sensitive and can take harsh products better so keep that in mind. The only cons I can think of is the price for something so small! And during the hot, humid days when you sweat the product feels really heavy. But I recommend this for people with moderate breakouts, especially during or before menstrual cycle and hormones go crazy and from reading the other reviews for people who have not sensitive skin. Hope this review helps!

Horrible...horrible product. My skin has never looked worse! I thought this would help my moderate acne and be a great spot treatment. It went on fine, but two days later, I noticed itching and the spots were HUGE! Now it's 4 days later and I am praying they don't leave scars...been using precription itch cream to get rid of it. RUN FROM THIS PRODUCT!

Hated this product. The smell was horrible, and the only thing it did was magnify the dots on my face when it was on. The product was a little drying, and I felt like it just didn't belong on my face, like the skin on my face was screaming at me to get this stuff off!

I thought this was pretty good. My acne finally went away after Accutane and I used this to help with the scars and little bumps. Although I didn't notice a great difference in the bumps, it really retexurized my skin making it really smooth and the scars started to fade. I think this product should be marketed as a retexurizer and scar minimizer, not really great for moderate-severe acne.

I wanted to step outside of the "generic brand" box and try a name brand others talked so much about. Ive always heard Aveeno products were the best so I decided to try this "natural" product. I personally enjoyed the smell, the treatment was very creamy and moisture rich. Okay, Im' liking this so far. WELL, my few pimples multiplied like wildfire and I too, got those tiny bumps on my jaw line and on my temples. I also heard (after I had already tried this TREATment) this product is supposed to purge your pores. YUCK! I used this for a total of 2 weeks and I finally had enough. I guess my skin is not compatible with this $16 dollar product. Unfortunately, my skin hasnt been the same since. I guess I am still searching for that perfect acne fighting product...BUMMER!!

Bought this product to clear up acne scars and treat some mild acne, ended up getting cystic acne everywhere I put it!!! The product was way too greasy for acne-prone skin? So I don't understand how they could market this for that. Immediately discontinued use, for $16 for at tiny tube - huge waste.

The words and the description on the box most definitely enticed me to purchase this pricey product, but so far, it hasn't work for me at all. Smells good, but wouldn't buy again.

i had some success with other aveeno products, and thought i would give this one a try for my acne treatment, since nothing else has worked. It has improved my face greatly, but i definitely still have some acne. however, my acne is much less noticeable. it has made my face a bit more sensitive. i also use their positively radiant moisturizer.
this product ended up being too harsh for my skin, i used it as spot treatment for a while, but eventually found something i liked better.

I bought this thinking it will lessen some of my acne marks, it really didn't do the job, and i've used it for a little over a month now. Also during use i got those small little bumps all over my face, after discontinuing the product they disappeared (after about a week), tried the product again and the bumps came back. So i guess this product is not for me. I gave it a 3 because my sister has had awesome success with this product, and that's the reason i bought it. The tube is big though and lasts a awhile. Overall i personally would not buy this again.

Run, do not walk, away from this product ladies! I have combo skin that tends toward oiliness if not tended to properly. Let's just say I tried this "treatment" and ended up with the ridiculous treat of a massive, nasty breakout. It was so bad, and I was so frustrated (I would have been better off just washing my face and using no "treatment" at all!) that I called Aveeno and demanded they rectify the situation. So after I returned the nasty lotion to Osco, Aveeno sent me a nice fat stack of coupons that I used to by my former daily moisturizer, the Skin Brightening SPF 15 lotion they make but nobody sells.
Lesson learned - Aveeno doesn't know how to treat acne.
