Since I am now past even that "certain age," I need all the help I can get. My eye area had begun to look terrible: dry, lined and puffy. I caved and let the SA at Shopper's talk me into this expensive eye cream since I knew I could easily return it. At $82, it's the most I've spent on any skin care product in my life! I've never used anything that worked as well or as quickly on my puffy, dried out, baggie eyes. This eye cream is close to perfect. My bags are gone, the dehydration is gone and the awful crepey lines are visibly lessened. If your budget permits, do your eyes a favour and give Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate a try.

Mediocre product which is disappointing considering I paid over 60 euros for it. Will not repurchase.

Average performer on undereye issues of fine lines and dark circles.
On the plus side: waxy consistency makes it compatible with the wearing of undereye makeup, i.e. will not cause migration of eyeliner etc, as is the tendency of other greasy eye creams.

I have been on medication for a severe bronchitis and noticed that the meds have dehydrated my skin more than the sun or air conditioning. This eye cream was reccomended by a lovely SA who is informed and fair (not just pumping her own line of products). I bought the eye cream as well as the night cream for a restoration of my poor visage.. I like the fact that neither of these has any spf, which is fine for day creams but can clog pores if used at night. I like the texture and fragrance of the products -- they are light and have a lovely soothing fragrance. i mist my face with Evian water then I use the EL face serum and then the face cream, the same thing with the eye cream.. first the EL serum and then the eye cream over. I use the EL serums day and night but always as a base for other creams. After application I still use my Clarins Orchidee Blue oil and then a second fine mist of Evian water.
this system while sounding complicated is simple and has proven quite effective for me. It's layering light layers of light products to really penetrate the epidermis.
my skin is almost totally recovered from my mass meds attack.
I will continue to repurchase both these products and have fallen in total love with Clarins.

I use every night before bed. A container lasts me 3.5-4 months. I hate the price but don't mind paying since it campflages my fine lines around my eyes. Nothing else I've tried has come close to this so I will continue to buy. Love Clarins products!

This is definitely one of the eye cream I've tried that actually work on reducing my fine-lines under my eye area.
It is target for mature skin, but the eye-cream texture is definitely emollient, light enough for anyone who's in-need of prevent first sign of aging. Its also scent-free so it will not irritate delicated eye-area!
I been trying numberous of eye-cream. My favourite cosmatic brand is Lancome, although they make good face/body cream, cosmatics, toners etc... they fail to make good eye-creams. *At least to me!*
I've tried 3 different Shiseido eye creams, 1 biotherm eye-cream, about 3 to 4 Lancome eye creams, Estee Lauder ANR eye, Yves Rocher's Richcream eye-cream, Burt's Bee Naturely ageless eye-serum and Khiel's avacado eye cream.
Among ALL these products Clarin's Super Restorative Total Eye work the best for me! I've see noticably result. Fine-lines are much lesser visible. I don't have those real crow-feet problem. And none of the eye cream can truely remove dark-circle, so I'm happy with the result. The other products that actually work on me all have "side-effects"! (Shiseido's Bio-performance.... amazing result on reduce fine lines but end up making my eyes puffy!! Yves Rocher's eye-cream only work at the first half jar and it stop working)
Clarins Super Restorative Eye Concentrate cost $82CND, it is expensive but this is currently their most powerful anti-aging eye-cream avilable. Compare with other department store brand mark-up, this is a fair price!
The only 2 minor problems are... If you use it day/night, one bottle last me 4 months only!! *Despite the package may appear larger then standard eye-cream! Its still standard 15ml!* If I try to "use" lesser then one pump, there will be very small amount of product became "solidly" the next time when you try to dispend the product. I don't know what cause it, but I'm on my 3rd bottle now and this occur quite often.
Overall I'd still recommand this to people who need anti-aging and willing to invest money on it. I'll definitely repurchase.

I am going through the 3rd dispenser of this product. As much as I like the other products of the Exigence line, this one does nothing for me. Well it does not do anything good or bad. I could probably use Nivea cream for the eye area with the same effect. No improvement whatsoever. The price is ridiculous given the , for me individually, no result. DHC concentrated eye cream works for me with visible results. The downside is I can not get DHC in Germany without looking for a CP overseas. However I will not buy it for the 4th time to give it a chance. The few mm's of hard cream, just like a worm, that come out every 2 or 3 days once you pump this product should not build up at all. I never had this with other products in dispensers. Not even with the Exigence serum. Not sure if this is based on the texture of the eye cream or not.
I gave it a 4 for the packaging cuz I like dispensers. I think Clarins should have their creams in dispensers or tubes rather than in these heavy glass jars.

I bought it for my mum, she liked it.
She felt the difference, her skin around the eyes are not dry like before, everything about this eye cream is good, apart from the price.

I'm probably on my 3rd or 4th bottle of this eye cream. It doesn't work miracles but I don't know that any eye cream does. It moisturizes nicely, seems to smooth my undereye area and generally works better than most other eye creams I've tried. The price is ridiculously high but that is typical of many Clarins products. And they need to do something about the packaging - every 2 or 3 days, when I dispense this, I get a hard little "worm" of the product along with the product in its proper form/texture. Clarins's other pump eye treatments do not do this - they don't have some of the product drying up inside the airless pump. I've mentioned this to my Clarins SA and she said others have commented on this too, so it's not just "user error" on my part. When something is this costly, I don't want to waste any of it.
And speaking of waste - when the dispenser is "empty", if you pry off the lid (my husband does this for me with tools of some sort), there is about a week's worth or more still left in the bottle!
UPDATE (April 2012): I am still using this eye cream (have a practically new container that I will finish up) but a few months ago, I found an eye cream that is every bit as good (perhaps even better) and costs half as much as this does. It's by a small Canadian company called Jouviance. It is labelled "eye serum" but the texture not at all like a serum and is very much like this Total Eye Concentrate. It also costs HALF as much as Total Eye Concentrate, and the pump bottle is much better in design. The product itself is excellent and so, in future, I doubt I'll be repurchasing Clarins. The Super Restorative line is just becoming too expensive, in my opinion.

After reading other positive reviews, I was surprised this didn't provide any noticeable results for me. For reference, I am 39 with good skin, yet I have somewhat thin skin around the eyes that has a tendency toward being crepey with fine lines when smiling. While the texture of this eye cream is nice, it did not do anything outside of lightly moisturizing. I found it no better than some drug store brands, such as Loreal Skin Genesis eye cream. So, while this feels nice, has no irritating fragrance, and comes in a quality package, it didn't provide any benefits that would justify the price.

I use this at night, and have used it in the morning aswell (before I got an SPF eye cream). It's pretty good, but I don't find it to be anything amazing. I find the same of most eye creams, though. It doesn't stand out from others really. The consistency is nice and it sinks in well and isn't greasy at all, and the pump bottle is good. It lasts a long time, but is pricey.

This is the best eye cream I've used, but to be fair I've just recently entered the world of eye creams as the wrinkles and puffiness encroach.
I use it in the morning and it moisturizes without greasiness, deflates my eyes and "perks" them up - they just look firmer and more awake, and the fine wrinkles are played down. I don't have darkness under my eye, but I've found this to deliver in all ways. It doesn't interfere with my primer (TF Shadow Insurance - which is amazing) at all.
Packaging is excellent, a little goes a long way. It's simply an excellent product. The 1 lippie deduction is just for the price - $80 is steep for half an ounce of product.

First, I LOVE the pump....easy to control how much is dispensed and so far I don't get a starter dry bit of product each time. Love the red color, just wish the package wasn't so darn big...(not big in product amount - just excess outer decorative packaging)....it uses up too much shelf space and travel space. Oh well, that's my only real complaint about this eye cream, becuase so far the product is fabulous!
Texture is dreamy - sinks right in and doesn't distort my makeup application or interfere with my contacts. Sinks in, but my eyes don't feel undermoisturing - they feel just right. I'm finally gotten over needing to feel grease in order to think my product was working.
Right now, I on't use it at night, but I don't look so tired and old in the AM and my fine line are staying just that....fine. I don't expect them to disappear, but I don't want them to worsen too fast and I want my eyes to look refreshed and this product helps me achieve that along with a great texture and consistancy. Bravo!

i think for my age, 28, this is absolutely doing nothing. Even my L'oreal eye cream gives more moisture. No it is not true, this one gave me something, one more exact line. I have no idea how it did this line but im sure that anymore i dont use it and of course wont buy again.

So the packaging is really sexy and beautiful and practical - a cute red bottle with a pump (no sticking fingers into jars and exposing antioxidents to the air). The texture is nice, the smell is nice... but... It just didn't seem to do anything for me. Since using this I have noticer much more puffiness, my under eye circles are more noticable as are fine lines. I also sometimes get small red dots on my skin from this, and sometimes small scaly patches. I got better results from my last two products by Lancome, but was trying to switch to something that doesn't test on animals. I think I'll just compromise my ethics and get something that works. Especially when you consider the price. Damn this stuff is expensive.

This is a nice eye cream. It absorbs quickly and leaves the eye area feeling and looking refreshed. It doesn't make my eyes water and I even apply it to my eyelids. It also behaves well under makeup. However, it just didn't seem to be moisturizing enough for me at night so in my seach for a nighttime product, I discovered Wise Woman eye cream by The Body Shop and I like it much better than Clarins. I use it during the day and at night and think it outperforms Clarins in every way. And it's more than $50 a bottle less than Clarins for the same amount of product!!

This isn't moisturizing enough for me. I bought it 3 months ago. I'm 28 years old. In those 3 months I have had a new wrinkle appear. Pah! I don't feel like this cream is doing anything - I mostly need some more moisture. Won't be buying again for that price!

I bought this because of the high percentages of positive reviews and I am glad I did. I have never found an eye cream that does all that much. The ones that say they will reduce puffiness and dark circles never do. The really moisturizing ones give me clogged pores around my eyes and make my eye makeup smear.
This really reduces puffs. It has made a huge difference. I was waiting until I got money for eye surgery but this has made me look decent in the meantime.
I took one lippie off because it could be more moisturizing. I use something over it at night. It also does nothing for my dark circles. I may need an additional one for that.
I also took a lippie off for packaging. It has a nice pump that you can vary to get the amount you want but they make the container look like you get a huge amount of product when you get a pretty standard amount. That seems kind of deceptive. It also takes up more room when traveling.
I will keep using and will re-purchase. Definitely.

This product is quite ok, it's not enough moisturizing for me though, so I apply it under my regular eye cream, basically as a serum. I must admit when I use it like this the concealer doesn't get in the fine lines so much afterwards, but I'm not sure I'd buy again. I guess this product is great for women without dryness problems in the eye area, I need a richer cream...
UPDATE: Since then I've tried so many much better products for half of the price, so now I think this is really a waste of money and time, since my eye area really needs more moisture than this!
